I Made It Myself

Mommy and I went to Michael's yesterday and bought some craft supplies. One of the projects that we decided to try is to build our own race car. I painted the car and Mommy and Daddy helped me glue it together. I think it looks great and I made it myself!

My friends Marissa and Aiden came over for a play date this morning. We performed a concert for Mommy and Aunty Melodie, we danced to Bobs and Lolo, we had a smoothie and pancake snack, we went outside to golf and play "What Time Is It Mr. Wolf" and we pretended to have a sleep over.

Super Hornet

Today, I built my first model airplane. Daddy built a lot of them when he was a little boy so he's very good at doing these things. This afternoon we went to the hobby store together and picked out a nice jet to share.


My job was to read the instructions and pop out the pieces. Daddy's job was to put the parts together. Together we built a F/A-18E Super Hornet jet. It's very fast!


Daddy says I did a good job following the instructions and taking care of the pieces. He says we'll build another plane together sometime soon. I just hope the next one is as fast as my Super Hornet jet.

Can You Find Me?

Daddy is a lot of fun. He's the one who usually runs around the house with me. Sometimes we play hide and seek and I'm starting to get better at it. I now have many places to hide and I'm working on staying quiet until somebody finds me.

Tonight Mommy join us but she changed the game a little bit. As a surprise for Daddy, she taught me how to camouflage myself. It was funny. I could see Daddy walking all over the place looking for me but not seeing me because I just blended in with everything.

Roti

Roti are on my favourite food list. I love going to Aunty Nim's and Aunty Taruna's house because they always feed me soft, buttery roti. Yummy! Sometimes Mommy makes it at home and when she does, I like to help her.

Cooper Cat

My friend Cooper came over to play this afternoon. He lives next door and often looks in the kitchen window in the afternoons to see if I'm at home. If we are going to be home for a little while, Mommy lets him in and I play with him. He really likes to be petted.


Today, I showed Cooper my trains. He really liked my automatic Polar Express, automatic Percy and automatic Thomas. He tried to bounce Thomas a couple of times. It was funny!

Did I ever get a big surprise when I woke up from my nap today. In Indian Taxi was waiting for me!



Uncle Praveen brought it back from India for me. He was there for the holidays. It's a funny car. It only has three wheels but it zooms very fast and never falls down. There's some funny, squiggly writing on the back and Daddy says it says "mehra bharat mahroot" - my Indian ride.

Happy New Year

Happy New Year! Did you stay up until midnight? I did! I've never done it before and Mommy says it will be a long time before I get to do that again.


Mommy and Daddy had a dinner party yesterday so I got to watch lots of TV last night. I think I watched a million "Magic School Bus" shows. It was great. Just before 12:00, Mommy brought out the party whistles and then we all made noises and shouted Happy New Year and gave lots of hugs. It was funny.
