Haunted House
Daddy and Uncle Ash took Mommy and me to a haunted house on Thursday night. When we got there we had to wait in a short line to get in. It didn't take us long to get to the front.
At first I wasn't scared at all. I was really excited. The girls in front of us were really nervous though. After they went in, they came running out the entrance door a few seconds later. I thought that was so funny. Then it was my turn to in. I held Mommy's hand to keep her safe because I think she was feeling a little nervous.
The front hall was a little spooky with scary music but there were no spooks so we continued into the next room. When we got into the next room that's when I started to get nervous. There were lots of skeletons and it was dark. Some things were moving and it started to look real. I knew that it was all fake though so we went a little further into the next room. That's when I wanted to leave - the creatures looked gross with blood everywhere. A tree tried to grab us, then later, a skeleton tried to sneak up on Daddy! Now, I was happy to be holding onto Mommy's hand. She needed me to keep her safe! One more room on and a creature tried to grab me and said "peanut butter!" That was funny! I was surprised that scary creatures say "peanut butter."
Thankfully there was an exit for beginners in the next room and since this was my first time I knew I should leave the haunted house there. I took Mommy with me. Daddy and Uncle Ash are experts so they went off to to see the rest of the house.
When they came out of the expert's exit they were laughing so I knew that the rest of the house couldn't be too creepy.
Today I asked Mommy if I could go back to the haunted house during the daytime. Spooks sleep during the day so it's was still creepy but not as scary.
